What Is AC Refrigerant?

Refrigerant is the substance that allows your air conditioner to absorb heat from inside your home and release that heat outdoors.

Refrigerant circulates through a sealed HVAC system and should not normally need to be replaced or continually topped off.

Is Freon the same thing as refrigerant?

How long should refrigerant stay in an AC system?
